JAMMIN'DOWN JD, was the weekend warrior and did swing shifts for ENERGY 92.7/5. He hosted the second-to-last airshift of Energy, and he produced several mixes for "Mixin' May".

JD is a hardened veteran of Chicago dance radio, having served as Music Director of Cyber Radio 92.7 (WCBR-FM) and as Program Director of Energy 88.7 (WLUW).

JD has also actively promoted dance music artists for DMA magazine, Modern Tracks, SOS/Baby-O Records, the Chicago/Wisconsin Record Pool, Let's Dance/IRS Music Pool, and the Committee for the Advancement of Dance Music (which established dance music as a Grammy category). He is also a mobile/nightclub DJ and has spun for Riviera, Alcatrazz, Medusa, and several other Chicago nightclubs.

Currently, JD is the President/CEO of JamTraxx Media, a broadcast company that provides syndicated programming and consulting for radio stations throughout North America. JamTraxx currently operates EnergyChicago, ClubJam, RadioMixes, HipMixes, and much more. JD can also be heard on the nationally-syndicated mixshow, "CLUBJAM: Where Dance Music Lives!"
